“I saw Dr. Jill Smith for an emergency front tooth chip repair/bonding and such a phenomenal experience from start to finish. She so kindly answered my message over the weekend while on vacation and calmed my nerves that she could definitely help once she returned on Monday. The front desk staff was very kind and accomodating in getting me in right away. The hygienist was adorable and very thorough. Dr. Jill is extremely detail oriented and efficient. My front tooth has had bonding on/off for the last 15 years and after Dr. Jill's repair- it has seriously never looked better!! I'm so thrilled with my results and overall experience here.”

“I recommend Dr. Smith at Dental Health and Wellness Boston to all of my friends and family in the Boston area. Dr. Smith and her team has always been exceptionally patient with me as they've worked through difficult or complicated dental decisions. She does not over treat--instead, she shares her expertise and how she approaches the problem and the options available to you. As all of the reviews note, the dental work itself is exceptional too. Brenda, Paris, and the whole team complete the experience. If you're looking for a dentist, just come here.”

“I went to Dr. Smith, full of anxiety, as a dentist chair is not the most comfortable place for me. The way she handled me, and made me feel so comfortable. It is a testament to her professionalism. Her dentistry is the best her office team is fantastic. They make you feel like family I would highly recommend.”

“I''m 63 yrs old and relocated to Boston about 4 years ago. My Endodontist recommended Dr. Smith. I mention my age because I have a lifetime of experience with dental practices. Well, this one is a Gem. Although there are other providers in the office, my primary team is Dr Smith, Brenda (assistant), and Paris (office manager/finance). They are each professional, patient and kind. My teeth/smile is the best it's ever been. I always feel at ease at this office. They go out of there way to promote my comfort. They have warm, lively personalities and I enjoy my conversations with them. Dental Health and Wellness was a great recommendation. They did not ask or encourage me to write this. I just think if you're looking for a dentist in the area you'll have a great experience with Dr Smith at Dental Health and Wellness.”

The vast majority of people are at least mildly uncomfortable going to the dentist.
It’s likely you know someone with a chronic (potentially debilitating) fear of the dentist. There are dental sedation solutions to ease dental anxiety.
Wake Up Smiling...
You often aren’t aware of the procedure, and sometimes you’ll have no memory of it afterward.
Time Travel...
Being sedated or asleep during the appointment can make the procedure seem faster. You’ll wake up and the time will feel like it went by in an instant.
Needle-Free and Pain-Free…
If you’re afraid of needles, there’s no need to fear dental sedation! There are many options that are needle-free and pain-free.
Better for Your Overall Health...
You can finally get the care you need that you have been putting off — possibly for years! Normally this might have been terrifying, but with the help of dental sedation you can take care of your oral health without the stress.
Save Time...
You can have two-to-three times the amount of work done in one day, minimizing the need for multiple future appointments!
“At Dental Health & Wellness Boston, we are committed to making your dental appointments as comfortable and anxiety-free as possible.”

Since 1998, I’ve been dedicated to creating Boston’s best smiles, continuing to lead in providing exceptional, long-lasting dental care. Alongside my associate Dr. Budd and periodontal specialist Dr. Assadourian, we ensure that every patient benefits from the best of modern dentistry. Together, we bring years of expertise and a shared passion for dentistry, making your dental health our top priority.
I am an active member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics, the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and DOCS oral conscious sedation. I have been recognized in my profession with several distinguished awards for my clinical and academic achievements. Many of our patients are those who suffer from dental phobia or anxiety surrounding visiting the dental office. Our team is able to improve these patients’ oral and overall health by creating a welcoming, relaxing environment for them to receive treatment in.
We also offer oral conscious and nitrous oxide sedation to help fearful patients feel more physically and mentally relaxed while they are receiving the oral healthcare they need.
Our dental health is dedicated to ensuring your comfort and addressing your unique needs. Our goal is to create a trusting, long-lasting relationship, providing personalized care that goes beyond addressing dental concerns. We aim to make each visit a positive experience, where you feel relaxed, cared for, and confident in your treatment.
Mild Sedation
(Nitrous Oxide)
It’s informally called “laughing gas” because it has a euphoric effect (making some people get the giggles).
Moderate Sedation
(Oral Sedative)
You’ll be able to take an oral sedative prior to your procedure (you’ll need a ride home of course).
